When you create an account we collect your email address, chosen Ember ID, and a hashed version of your password. We do not store your password in plain text. We may also collect basic usage data such as pages visited and session duration to help improve the site.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information collected solely to manage your account, communicate updates about Ember Quest, and improve our services. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
4. Third-Party Services
Ember Quest uses PlayFab by Microsoft to manage player accounts and authentication. By creating an account you are also subject to Microsoft PlayFab's privacy practices. We also use Google reCAPTCHA on our registration form, which is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account remains active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us directly.
6. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information. Account data is stored securely through PlayFab's infrastructure. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Children's Privacy
Ember Quest is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data please contact us so we can remove it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
